The Purpose of Prophet hood

TEHRAN (Asremrooz): in threshold of Mohammad prophet hood world had amazing crisis including ignorance, looting, oppression, violation, corruption, unrestrained cargo, and discrimination.
In that time Arab island region especially Mecca had cultural, political, economic and social awful situation. Arab worshiped idol made of wood and stone, women did not have basically rights and they were sold as goods.
Allah in the holy verses of Quran has cited “verily your lord extends sustenance to whomsoever he wills and he measure it .
He is aware of his servants seeing.do not kill your children even for fear of want .we sustain them and your own selves too, verily killing them is a great sin.
Do not approach adultery indeed it is shameful act and an evil way.
Do not kill anyone whose killing God has forbidden except for a just cause and whoever is slain unjustly then we have indeed given his heir authority but let him not exceed the limits of slaying verily he is aided.
Do not approach the property of an orphan except in a way that is good until he attains his maturity and you fulfill your promise verily there shall be questioning concerning every promise.
Give full measure when you measure out and weigh with a correct balance. This is good and most fair in the end.
Do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge verily hearing the sight and heart shall all be questioned about it”.
God in these verses officially expressed immoral and bad customs in that time including worshiping idols, abuse parents, children killing, killing innocent people, raping property of orphans , unfairness in the distribution of properly and public facilities, violet the rights of other, broken promise and ignoring treaties and community law.
It is clear that in these verses some causes and reasons of Mohammad prophet hood including economic, cultural, security, and social justifying have been investigated. It is cited that Qeys ebn Asem went to Mohammad prophet and said “I buried alive eight of my daughters. What should I do?” the prophet said “free eight slaves”.
Also, it is cited when he explained the prophet cried and said “ whoever do not have mercy God will not have merci for him”.
Therefore in the threshold of prophet hood world was full of arrogant and superstition thought. People on that time seriously required spiritual, moral and humanity.
In this report we outlined some important reason of prophet hood.
1-value of revolution
The principals and value against humanity turned to spiritual and humanity value such as Superstition to the fact, war to peace. The prophet used his entire attempt to change the world. When Mohammad sent Ma’az ebn Jabal toward Yamane said “kill superstition and published Islamic customs”.
He in his final massage in Haj cited “ I put all superstition and bad belief under my feet”.
Imam Ali expressed you back to the age before prophet hood all revolution value changed. It is required another prophet hood”.
2- Cultivate and Nurture of soul
The most important mission of prophet was education and cultivation of people. Devin prophets have attempted to actualized inner dynamic talent of people and helped them to reach the pick.
God cited in Aale Imran “indeed God conferred his favor upon the believers when he raised a massager from among themselves to recite to them his signs and to purity them and to teach them the book and wisdom thought before this they were in manifest error”.
The prophet recited the verses of Quran and polished their soul and heart.
3- Thralldom
According to Quran the purpose of creating human is worship and all creatures have been created for human to fulfill this purpose. Allah cited “I created jinn and man so that they might worship me”.
This is one of the prophet hoods’ purpose. Devin leader have tried to direct human in this way
4- Human unity
Prophet Hood is the only device for unity. In Cow surah God cited “ mankind was but one nation , then God sent prophets as bearers of glad tiding and warner and he sent with them the trust to judge thereby between men when they differ and non-differed therein but those very people to whom it was given even after clear sign had come to them ”.
5-Devine grace
For human who is standing at the first stage it is difficult to make relation with God that is the last stage. For reaching this purpose a divine grace is needed. Doing what the prophet said will be the best way for reaching to God.
6-Remember a forgotten vow
The divine prophet must remind a forgotten vow that it was forgotten. Imam Ali stated “God selects prophet among humans because humans forgot their vow and worshiped idol”.
7-Promoting moral virtues
Islam prophet is a symbol of perfect human and has moral characteristics and habits. So he attempted to train those characteristics to people.
8-Creation and development of social justice
Imam Sadeq stated “the prophet divide his look equally among his supporters”.
