Jewish Ritual or Tiregan Celebration

TEHRAN (Asremrooz): Yesterday, a group of young people including boys and girls celebrated Tiregan party in Iran land Park by splashing water. Of course, the celebration was finished soon by police’s interference. Although some believe that it is related to Tiregan celebration, there is not any historical document about it and it is nothing except an illusion created by Jewish in Iranian and European’ mind.
It is an action regardless of the legal and religion issues by presence of boys and girls together. It is not only opposite of modesty in ancient Iran but also with Islamic rules.
It is important that in Tiregan Ritual there is not any about splashing water, and it is added recently. Jewish‘s footstep can be seen in this celebration because they celebrate watery war in Tel Aviv and it was held yesterday there.
For more information it is better to refer the Abu Reyhan Biruni’s book:
In a war between the Iranian and Turan the General Afrasiab has surrounded the forces of the righteous Manuchehr, and the two sides agree to make peace. Both reach an agreement that whatever land falls within the range of a bow-shot shall be returned to the Manuchehr and the Iranians, and the rest should then fall to Afraisab and the Aniranians. An angel Spenta ArmaitiMP instructs Manuchehr to construct a special bow and arrow, and Arash is asked to be the archer. Arash then fires the specially-prepared arrow at dawn, which then traveled a great distance (see below) before finally landing and so marking the future border between the Iranians and the Aniranians. Later sources associate the event with the name-day festivities of Tiregan (13th of Tir) "presumably" provoked by the homonymity with the Yazata Tir or tir "arrow." (Tafażżolī 1987, p. 266)
The location from which Arash fired his arrow varies as well. In the Avesta (which does not mention places in Western Iran), it is 'Airyo.khshaotha', a not-further identified location in the Middle Clime. Islamic-era sources typically place the location of the shot somewhere just south of the Caspian Sea, variously in Tabaristan (Tabari, Talebi, Maqdesi, ibn al-Atir, Marashi); a mountain-top in Ruyan (al-Biruni, Gardizi), Amul fortress (Mojmal), Mount Damavand (Balami) or Sari (Gorgani). The place the arrow landed is variously identified as 'Mount Khvanvant' in the Avesta (likewise an unknown location); a river in Balkh (Tabari, al-Atir); east of Balkh (Talebi); Bactria/Tokharistan (Maqdesi, Gardizi); the banks of the Oxus River (Balami) or Merv (Mojmal). According to al-Biruni, it hit a nut tree between "Fargana" and Tabaristan "in the furthest reaches of [Greater] Khorasan
Of course, it has been several years in cyberspace that the festival has been heavily promoted. It does not refer to ancient Iran and it is similar to Jewish celebration called watery war. In addition to Iran it is held in some of the European countries including Cyprus who announced their preparation for holding it.
In 1389 this celebration was held in fire and Water Park in Tehran too.
Splashing water in Tehran and karj were holding the same as what happened in Tel Aviv. This ritual held in Iran under the name Tiregan as well as other countries will hurt Iranian culture and create corruption in Iranian customs.
It is necessary to mentioned Tiregan Ritual is an ancient celebration. On the other hand, splashing water is not rejected in Iran and Islam but it is not mentioned in our culture and religion.
Splashing water behind the passenger
Hormozan was Khozestan’s governor. He was arrested when Arab attracted Iran. He was sent to Medina. Omar was sleeping in a mosque while he entered there. Hormozan asked “where is Amir-al-momenin?” soldier pointed and said “there he is”. Then Omar woke up and ordered to kill him. Hormozan asked for water before death. Omar accepted but when they gave water he hesitated in drinking, Omar asked “why do you do that?” he answered “I am afraid that your soldiers kill me while I am drinking water”. Omar promised that he will not kill him before he is drinking water. Then he poured water on the ground and Omar was forced to get him free.
So this is why Iranian pour water behind the passenger because they believe it can make another life to passenger.
Splashing water for bride
The Islam prophet cited Imam Ali “when the bride comes your home, put off her shoes, wash her feet and pour the water behind the door. If you do that Allah enters 70000 blessing in your house and destroys 70000 poorness too”.
Splashing water on the grave
Imam sadeq said “ when the grave is wet , the tortures will removed”.
