Defence Minister Defended Until the Last Moment
Khordad 31th is the martyrdom of man who studied high level of knowledge, Islam logy, wisdom and patriotism at the higher level. He was a great man who his litany calm hearts after three decades. Not only in Iran but also in Lebanon he defended and he was the founder of Hezbollah. It shall be like doing injustice with pen, if when writing about the great martyr's of Iran, who spent their entire lives serving their nation.

TEHRAN (Asremrooz): Khordad 31th is the martyrdom of man who studied high level of knowledge, Islam logy, wisdom and patriotism at the higher level. He was a great man who his litany calm hearts after three decades. Not only in Iran but also in Lebanon he defended and he was the founder of Hezbollah. It shall be like doing injustice with pen, if when writing about the great martyr's of Iran, who spent their entire lives serving their nation.
Mostafa Chamran was born in Tehran (Khordad Fifteenth Street) on8 March 1932. He studied at Alborz High School and then graduated from Tehran University with a bachelor's degree in electro mechanics. He moved to the United States for higher education, obtaining an M.S. degree from the Texas A&M University. He then went on to obtain his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and plasma physics in 1963 from the University of California, Berkeley.
When he was 15 years old, he was educated by Ayatollah Taleqani and Morteza Motahari.
He was an Iranian scientist who served as first defense minister revolutionary Iran and as Member of Parliament, as well as commander of paramilitary volunteers in Iran–Iraq War.
Chamran was a member of the Freedom Movement in the 1960s. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Chamran became politically active. He became a leading and founding member of the Islamic revolutionary movement in the Middle East, organizing and training guerrillas and revolutionary forces in Algeria, Egypt, Syria, especially Amal Movement in southern Lebanon.
His presence In Lebanon
After Abd-Al-Naser demise, it was necessary to make independent guerrilla bases for training Iranian fighter, so he was sent to Lebanon to create it. Imam Musa Sadr was a partner, leader of Lebanese Shiites. The full of Islamic principals and basic rules (anti-Zionist) began. He also went to the neighboring Palestine epic. Chamran participated in guerrilla activities in liberation wars against Israel and the Phalanges. For eight years he assumed responsibility for managing the Technical School of Jabal-Amel in southern Lebanon.
Military and Art works
Chamran wrote many articles on political, tactical and ideological topics. Most of them were published without any author listed. In his own opinion, his ideological and intellectual activities were more important than his scientific, political or guerrilla activitiesbasis
Martyrdom
With the Islamic Revolution taking place in Iran, Chamran's career took a sharp turn. He was appointed commander of Iran's Pasdaran (March 1979 – 1981),as well as Iran's minister of defense (September 1979 - Spring 1981),personal military aide to Imam Khomeini and the latter's representative to the Supreme Council of Defense.
At the time of the Iraqi invasion he went to Ahvaz, bravely fighting and never left the front. Mostafa and fighting was going. Chamran was a left foot injury but at the second night he ran out of the hospital. On Khordad 31th Mostafa chest was on fire still hot. Finally Chamran was killed in Dehlavieh on 20 June 1981 as the Iran–Iraq War was. shows.
