TEHRAN(Asremrooz):A high-ranking delegation from the UAE coast guard would visit Iran late August or early September for the conference in a bid to discuss issues of mutual interests, including shared border, nationals' comings and goings, illegal traffic and comings and goings which happen without prior announcement or notice as well as ways for information exchange between the two countries.

The 8th Iran-UAE joint consular commission meeting would be held in next months as the UAE Foreign Minister's Assistant for Political Affairs Tarek Ahmed Al Heidan will join the meeting to confer on ways for settlement of nationals' problems, visa reception and residence in the two countries.

Iran attaches importance to strengthening ties with the Middle East's countries in a bid to maintain security in the region.

Earlier this year, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi underlined the importance of close cooperation among the Persian Gulf countries in order to maintain regional security and stability.
