Official says that the US which started war on regional countries with the alibi of war on al-Qaeda, is now fighting for al-Qaeda in Syria.

TEHRAN (Asremrooz):Major General Hassan Firouzabadi, Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, said "Americans who after the September 11 started military attacks on the counties of the region with the big lie of fighting al-Qaeda are now fighting for al-Qaeda in Syria.”
Firouzabadi added "In the past, Americans would give al-Qaeda arms and education. Today they are going to weaken Syria by making coalitions in order to make up for their defeat.”
He also asserted "The Zionist as the principal agitators of such operations are faced with vindictive attacks. With a US attack on Syria, Russia too will lose the Caucasia defense front and it must defend itself around Moscow.”
Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces further said "Regional countries that support this unfair war will have to undergo serious damages.”
