Asremrooz - Ahmadinejad liked to own the privilege of relations with US: analyst

Salimi Namin says that in his 10th administration, Ahmadinejad tried to make the launching of relations with US his own.

TEHRAN (Asremrooz):Political affairs analyst Abbas Salimi Nami giving a speech in Tarbiat Modarres University said "Ahmadinejad’s stances are completely different from each other in his two terms of administration. In the 10th administration his whole effort was that the privilege of relations with the US be associated with him,” Nasim reports.

Namin added "Ahmadinejad is an engineer and no more. He is no ideologue or expert in political and intellectual matters.”

"Ahmadinejad once said that Israel would soon be eliminated. When the head of the executive branch says ‘soon’, it means that it is to be followed by practical measures. Right then I said on TV channel 2 that Ahmadinejad as head of the executive must not say that because that would give the enemy an excuse,” the political affairs analyst asserted.

He further provided comments on positions taken on Israel by figures close to Ahmadinejad and said "Ahmadinejad’s telling tongue [Mashaei] says we have no problem with the people of Israel. Well, is Israel anything but its people?”
