He was an expert translator who had translated the holy Quran, Nahj-Al-Balaghe and Sahife Sajadieh. content : TEHRAN(Asremrooz): Iranian Islamic Scholar Abdol Mohammad Ayati after a period of illness, in Imam Hussein Hospital today morning on September 20th at the age of eighty seven passed away. He was an expert translator who had translated the holy Quran, Nahj-Al-Balaghe and Sahife Sajadieh. He was a researcher, author, and translator in Persian Arabic and philosophy major. Born in Borujerd, Loresan Province in 1305, he began elementary school in traditional school Agha Baji then his parents moved him into the E atezad school on of the best school in Broujerd. Ayati was already interested in Islamic issues when he was studying at a high school in his hometown. Thus, he took a course at the Nurbakhsh Seminary in Borujerd. A few years later in 1946, he began studying philosophy at the University of Tehran. He entered in Tehran University in 1325 and after graduation he served in Teaching and Training Minister. He was teacher is Babol and he continues teaching in Tehran and other cities more than thirty years. In addition teaching, he was editor of Education Journal. He was moved from Khoramabad to Tehran then Saveh in 1330 and he stayed in Grammar. Ayati wrote a text titled swamp” then he translated Broken ship” written by Tagore and published. He also began a teaching career, which continued for over 30 years and became a member of the Iranian Academy of Persian Language and Literature 1991. He moved to Tehran and worked in Education Center. He published some books including swamp, broken ship, Golden Carriage. When he retired he translated Ebn-Khaldoon history in six volumes and Islamic Government History in 5 volumes. He wrote many books and articles on Persian literature and philosophy.
